EB-3 (Employment Based Third Preference Visa)

You may be eligible for this immigrant visa preference category if you are a skilled worker, professional, or other worker.

EB-3A (Skilled Worker Visa)

  • Available to workers who are able to demonstrate that they have at least 2 years of job experience, education, or training that meets the job requirements specified on the labor certification.
  • USCIS may consider relevant post-secondary education as training. 
  • You MUST be performing work for which qualified U.S. workers are not available in the U.S.
  • Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job are required.

EB-3B (Professionals Visa)

  • Available to individuals who are able to demonstrate that they possess a U.S. baccalaureate or foreign equivalent degree, and that a baccalaureate degree is the normal requirement for entry into the occupation.
  • You MUST be performing work for which qualified workers are not available in the United States.
  • However, in this category, education and experience may not be substituted for a baccalaureate degree.
  • Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required. 

EB-3C (Unskilled or Other Workers Visa)

  • Available to individuals who are able to demonstrate the ability to perform unskilled labor (requiring less than 2 years training or experience), that is not of temporary or seasonal nature. 
  • You MUST be performing work for which qualified workers are not available in the United States.
  • Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required.
