CHNV Parole Ended, But Your Options Haven’t — Talk to an Immigration Lawyer Now

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently announced that it is terminating parole for individuals admitted under the CHNV program (for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans). These individuals are being notified via email that their parole and work authorization have been revoked effective immediately. DHS is encouraging recipients to self-deport through the CBP One mobile app, offering a $1,000 travel incentive to do so.

But before you take that step — speak with a lawyer, there may be other options.

Every immigration case is unique. Some individuals may qualify for:

  • Asylum or other humanitarian protections
  • Family-based petitions
  • Adjustment of status
  • Deferred action or other relief

Acting without legal advice could cause you to forfeit a right or protection you didn’t know you had.

Our job is to evaluate your case thoroughly and help you explore every possible legal avenue before you make any life-altering decisions.

If you or someone you know has received a CHNV termination notice, do not leave the country without talking to an immigration attorney first.

We are here to protect your rights, explain your options, and help you make the best possible decision for your future.
